“With Cabana, I created the Persia Collection, inspired by Persian patterns and heritage, translating them into plates that evoke travel through ornament and colour.”

Tatiana’s collaboration with Cabana began in London, at a time when the magazine was still taking shape and illustration was part of its visual language. The Persia Collection draws on Persian ornament, translated across a charger, dinner, soup, and dessert plate—each one different, yet designed to come together beautifully when stacked.

Working with Cabana meant translating that globetrotting, textile driven spirit into watercolor: romantic motifs, ornament, and a sense of layered storytelling that feels intimate rather than editorial. That dialogue later extended beyond pages into objects for the table, including a “fantasy tablecloth” Tatiana designed for Cabana.
