W orking on this great project for almost a year taught me so much, especially while working aside one of the greatest interior designers in France: Vincent Darré. "L'enfant terrible de la décoration intérieure française" to use the exact description given by The Invisible Collection. For the first time, the great french designer, known for his audacity and original designs, gets together with the British brand, known for its flagship store in Chelsea, to create a capsule collection defined by poetic and very flamboyant aesthetics available to buy on The Invisible Collection . Vincent Darré finds his inspiration from surrealism designing incredible eccentric interiors. This collection he designed includes a lamp, a console, a vase and a mirror. The vase is called the Gemini Vase, made in ceramics and painted by hand by a very talented artisan from Bordeaux with whom Vincent had previously worked. It is my favourite piece of the collection, the double face is spectacular. The Table console recalls Greek columns and is surmounted by a beautiful table top made of Italian marble: the Nero Marquina. The floor Lamp with its spiral lamp shade is subtly handmade with raffia, also in a tiny atelier in central Paris. Lastly, the mirror with its musical inspired details arranged so delicately around the edges and its aged aspect is absolutely stunning. Working as from the beginning with the Vincent Darré team was a great honour. We were in charge of producing this collection from the beautiful watercolour drawings we received. It was the most interesting experience to start from examining the drawings, to understand the overall aspect Vincent Darré wanted to have . The materials to use and the outcome he wanted to have. Looking for the most perfect artisans to create these beautiful pieces and coordinating them, was utterly interesting. We worked on this project for about a year to make it happen and it is such a joy to see it finally out there.

I 've always been fascinated by interiors and waited patiently for the day we would buy our first apartment after so many years of living out of suitcases around the world. Well it's coming soon, we're currently looking for our dream place in Paris! Collecting different sources of inspiration could only get me more excited and let's face it, dream big has always been my motto. The pictures bellow can describe my dream home and the atmosphere I'd like for friends to feel when they come. I wouldn't lie about the fact that it's a little over the top, very bold and grandiose. But Dream big they say! A mix of different interior ideas starting with a classic base, topping it with bolder ideas with a mix of different types of furniture. We've always loved and prefered Louis XVI furniture but I've learned how interesting it can look with more contemporary items in the same room, the idea is to mix different periods but in a subtle way. My Grandmother had an exquisite taste for interiors, throughout her life she decorated 18 houses around the world and I'm sure we got a little zest from her. Since our childhood, our parents would always take us on Sundays to this flea market in central Brussels on La Place du Jeu de Balle. We'd always come back home with little treasures we'd bargain for nothing. Our house in Brussels reflects my parents love of hunting beautiful little objects, there is no more space now, it's very crowded. One could spend hours just looking at all the details, it's fascinating! What I find so interesting is how every object has a story, people are always so proud of saying where they bought it or how they got it, what it means to them and how special it is.

L ast year with my cousin Elena, we decided to launch a collection of silk Dusters in 2021 which are more commonly known as a mix of elegant robes and dressing gowns to be worn in and out of our homes to elevate your outfit. Our first trip was planned to Florence where you can find the best silk and printing companies in the well known area of Prato. Having studied there for a year or so, my former teachers such as my pattern making teacher helped us elaborate the shape and delicate cuts. These photos bellow were taken in the factory were we will provide our brand with silk velvet for the collars, silk twill for the lining amongst others: it's very much of a place in heaven for us! At the moment we are in the process of designing the prints, they will be first drawn with watercolour on paper, then digitalised and finally printed on this beautiful silk. It's a very long lasting process but the result will be beautiful, and we hope our community will like them and feel comfortable in them!

O xfordshire is like a chocolate box as my dearest cousin Sarah would say. It's such a beautiful countryside where everything seems so perfect. The houses are to die for and you can clearly spend hours wondering around the most exquisite villages such as Great Tew. With its pretty thatched cottages and gabled roofs, it is definitely a secret heaven in the heart of the Cotswolds! Close by, about three hours away walking distance Sibford Ferris is where we decided to stay for the second lockdown. We didn't need a car so we calculated everything in how many hours it would take us to walk when usually it's translated in a 10/15 min drive! The village of Sibford Ferris has The Holiday type of cottage, I just fell in love with it instantly! Walks are what we did the most, in the morning before sunrise we'd wake up to walk to the local shop in Hook Norton. It was the most beautiful light with this magical morning frost. After and hour and a half we would arrive and buy our groceries for the week!

L e Chardon is the brand's name ( @maisonlechardon ) and it's the story of 3 french-polish cousins who decided, a couple of years ago to breed alpacas in our family home in Poland to produce duvets with their beautiful wool. Today the estate is full of life. In addition to Charles and Pola, and a few people helping to manage the farm, the estate has three dogs, laying hens, a flock of sheep and ... the most important ones: the alpacas. Charles realised his “agro-dream”, by inventing, with our cousins David de Jouffroy Gonsans and Paul Roitfeld, an exclusive brand of bedding linen in Alpaca wool, the prestigious cousin of the Andean lama. Alpacas graze in the meadows. Once a year they cut their wool, hand clean it, card it, and then quilt it. Then they place it between two panels of organic percale cotton, which are sown together to make quilts. Charles is delighted to have succeeded, under the guise of a luxury product, in selling a purely local and natural product. Alpaca wool is hypoallergenic, so it is suitable even for those who are allergic to sheep wool or goose down. It is a material endowed with thermoregulatory properties. This means that when it's cold, it warms up pleasantly, and when it's hot, the duvet breathes. It's a local product!
